Spiritual Beliefs

As a couple, we want to grow in faith and spirituality by recognizing each other's strengths and growing with them, by recognizing each other's weaknesses and growing with them, by complimenting each other in a way that two souls who have known each other in the past can come together again and grow together in this lifetime through a spiritual and magical connection that comes from within.

We believe that God is not male nor female, yet both God and Goddess. God/dess is a thought, a feeling, an empowerment of ourselves. We tap into that thought, that feeling, that empowerment of ourselves through ritual, prayer and meditation in order to better understand ourselves and to give us the strength that allows the God/dess within us to emerge, to set ourselves free, to set our spirits free.

No, we are not Christian, we're not Wiccan, we're not Muslim, or Jewish, we're not Hindu or Buddhist, yet there are concepts, thoughts, beliefs, feelings and words from each that empower us and in a sense make us all of these combined without being labeled as just one "religion."

We call ourselves Pagan as it is the only name that defines our spiritual path.

"(Marriage) is the reunion of the seperated duad. Originally you were one. You are now two in the world, but the recognition of the spiritual identity is what marriage is."
~ Joseph Campbell

"A way can be a guide, but not a fixed path:
Names can be given, but not permanent labels."
~ Tao Te

"We gaze up at the same stars, the sky covers us all, the same universe emcompasses us. What does it matter what practical system we adopt in our search for the truth? Not by one avenue only can we arrive at so tremendous a secret."
~ Symmachus, 384 C.E.

"(The spirit) is the revelation of the divinity that is inherent in all nature..."
~ Joseph Campbell
