Our Honeymoon

We had TWO Honeymoons. The first one was a weekend at Universal Studios, which is only about an hour and a half away from our home. We took a camera and a few rolls of film, but we were having too much fun to actually take pictures! Here is one of the two (yes, only two) that were taken. We are sitting in front of the Universal Studios Classic Monster Cafe: Then our real Honeymoon came about a year later. We took a week in New Orleans and what can we say, we fell IN LOVE with the place (see Future Plans to see how much)! Here are a few pics of us and the place that we were born to live in! The Quarter Esplanade. This was the Bed and Breakfast that we stayed at. The view from our balcony. Of course we played in the cemetaries... ...and visited Marie Laveau's tomb (The famous VooDoo queen!) We love the view in the French Quarter. We fell in love with the house on the left, but it is HAUNTED! The St. Louis Cathedral. Even more breathtaking when looking up at it! Taking a coffee break at Cafe Du Monde and eating beignet's We visited the Anne Rice Collection and were amazed by the workmanship on these Lestat dolls! The pic doesn't do them justice. Outside of Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop, the oldest building on Bourbon Street. The 2 of us heading out to the Crystal, the only Goth club in town (too bad it's gone now!) Back To Main
