THE KINDLY NIGHT
The night is ours.
The Kindly Night,
alive with wisp and wind
as we two walk,
thru nights embrace,
until the never-end.
So much we love,
aloud and fierce
we have, ourselves, to learn
about each other,
and what life is
and what it means to yearn.
So let us live
in nights embrace
and damn the violent winds!
Together we
can storm the gates
of heaven, and ascend!

DREAMS (OF RENEE)
Poised upon the end
of Dreams
and the beginnings of morning light
I wake, only to find myself
where I was
when asleep I fell.
Beside my love, so gently sleeping,
breathing...in...and out.
I smile.
The warm smile of one who is in love.
I see beauty when I look upon her
snuggled into the warm bedsheets,
Dreaming her Dreams
or nightmares.
Hopefully not nightmares.
I hope that I am in those Dreams,
A positive reinforcement of love.
A singular outstanding part.
"We are one, you and I," I thought
as I gazed,
at my love,
poised on the end of Dreams.
